Mountain View Village Celebrates Phase II Grand Opening

Phase II of Mountain View Village in Riverton, Utah continues with the addition of 13 new restaurants and stores, bringing the total number of tenants to 61, including a 14-screen luxury Cinemark movie theater complex, opening on Thursday.

To celebrate the on-going developments of the latest phase, the property will host a four-day grand opening event starting on Thursday, June 30 with a “Golden Ticket Giveaway” and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The first 500 guests will receive a swag bag with five chances to win a $500 shopping spree. The party continues all weekend long with free, family-friendly activities including LIVE music, performances by Nitro Circus, Paw Patrol parties for kids, nightly fireworks, and more. Juniper Market, a curated assortment of local small businesses, will also be hosting a special pop-up at Mountain View Village on Saturday, July 2nd. Click here for a full summary of the festivities.

“We are now over 95% committed on the Phase II development project, ahead of our Grand Opening kickoff, which is unheard of in the industry and reflects the growth in the Southwest Corridor,” shared Senior VP of Leasing, Chris Byers.

CenterCal Properties broke ground in March of 2017 to kick off phase one of the project which included the grand opening of Harmons Grocery Store and more than 35 retailers, businesses, and dining choices. An impressive 10-foot high “Majestic” eagle bronze statue created by renowned sculptor Brian Keith was also unveiled.

In addition to new restaurants and retailers, the completion of Phase II includes five pocket parks with unique amenities, a state-of-the-art show fountain, and a covered market-hall style Pavilion with a collection of eateries. The final phase of the project will comprise the office complex.

Situated in one of the fastest-growing areas in the Salt Lake Valley, Mountain View Village’s architecture, mature landscaping, and distinctive sculptures are designed to honor the unique and deep history of the area. Mountain View Village is a prime example of CenterCal’s placemaking projects, focused on creating unique spaces that bring people together for shopping, dining, family events, lifestyle amenities, and open-air concerts.
