Second Mark Featured on Good Day Seattle
Second Mark, the new collection by FXRY, was recently featured on FOX 13’s Good Day Seattle. The segment, featuring founder Calley Dawson and host Mireya Garcia, included an overview of the new line and behind-the-scenes insight into the reworking process.
To create the new collection, Calley worked with local designer Natalie Winkler to source garments and develop the motifs as a team. Winkler then begins the process of reworking each piece by hand. Silhouettes get reshaped, details get added, and most pieces are finished in chainstitch on a hand-guided machine, one of the very few still working commercially in Seattle.
Second Mark's current assortment includes reworked LL Bean barn jackets, denim chore coats, cropped button-downs, and more. Don’t miss the newly released Second Mark collection with Tacoma artist Emily Counts, featuring seven drawings chainstitched onto reworked vintage shirts.
