Holiday Calendar: Future of Diversity Market Returns to La Spiga Dec. 7

The 5th annual Future of Diversity Holiday Market will take place at Osteria La Spiga on Sunday, December 7th, from 12-4 p.m., featuring over 25 diverse vendors.

For one afternoon in December, the Capitol Hill restaurant will transform into a vibrant holiday market, celebrating the creativity of the program’s many innovators. Over 25 local businesses will showcase their unique crafts, culinary delights, and holiday treasures, set against the backdrop of live music and festive cocktails.

In 2021, Sabrina Tinsley, co-owner of Osteria La Spiga, envisioned using her platform to uplift and support BIPOC entrepreneurs in the restaurant, beverage, and farming industries. From that vision, the Future of Diversity guest chef program was born. Since then, emerging chefs have been invited on a regular basis to take over the kitchen and showcase their culinary talents.
