The holidays are here, and University Village has something for everyone to enjoy this season, including a Gingerbread House competition, Santa Photos, a Wishing Tree, in-store events, and much more! Here’s an overview of what’s happening on property this season.

Small Business Saturday

Mark your calendar! Small Business Saturday is on November 28th and University Village is home to over 40 locally-owned businesses. This is a great way to kick off your holiday shopping while supporting local brands. To add to the fun, U Village will also be hosting local pop-ups on Small Business Saturday at select retailers and restaurants.

The holiday tradition continues with festive Santa Photos at University Village starting on Friday, Nov. 27th and running through Christmas Eve. Santa photos are now available to book online. Reserve your spot now!

Pet Photo Monday

If you’re celebrating the holidays with a furry friend, the purr-fect time to stop by and see Santa is on Pet Photo Monday, when a portion of the proceeds from every photo is donated to Summit Assistance, a non-profit that transforms lives across the Pacific Northwest by providing highly-skilled mobility service dogs for people living with disabilities.

Winter Wish Tree

Giving back to those in need is easy this season at the University Village Winter Wish Tree, on display starting on Black Friday outside of Sole Food (near Ben Bridge Jewelry). This year, University Village is giving back to 10 local organizations by collecting over 1800 holiday “wishes”, each fulfilled by generous members of the community.

1st Annual Gingerbread House Competition

Join University Village for a special Gingerbread House Competition featuring 8 locally owned, food-focused merchants. Voting begins on Nov. 24 when houses go on display in stores. The voting continues out on the Village Green on Small Business Saturday, November 28th when a winner will be announced. Participants include Hello Robin, Trophy Cupcakes, The Confectionery, and more.
