Recap: Moonlit Beauty Event in Seattle

Sydney Mintle October 9, 2018

Seattle beauty fans enjoyed an intimate Q&A session with Moonlit Skincare Co-Founder Stephy Kim on Sept. 26 at Hotel Theodore in Downtown Seattle. Guests enjoyed swag bags, sparkly rosé, and catering by Rider Seattle as they learned the backstory behind the indie brand that is embracing the science of sleep to facilitate healthy skin.

Moonlit Skincare leverages the restorative hours of sleep to repair skin so that users wake up with a healthy, hydrated glow. “The idea was born out of noticing how much better skin looks when you get enough sleep,” says Stephy. Most consumers overlook how important sleep is to their overall health and wellness, but it’s critical. Sleep and skincare go hand in hand and Moonlit has products to help consumers multi-task while they get some well-deserved beauty sleep.

Guests of the event received full-size Moonlit Skincare products including Midnight Shift, a lavender-scented overnight facial oil that moisturizes and smooths skin, and Moonlit’s newest product, Powder Down Powder, an all-natural 2-in-1 mask.

Moonlit Skincare is available locally at Knack on Capitol Hill and online at ShopMoonlit.com. View the full event photo gallery on the Gossip & Glamour Facebook Fan Page. Photo credit: Vivian Hsu.
